Squiglets is made up of myself Katie and my partner Peter. After wanting to change my career and follow my dream of working with animals I made the decision to set up Squiglets. I have always had a huge passion for animals and loved the idea of enriching their lives by helping to care for them. I took the plunge in 2014, left my previous job and started Squiglets. Now nearly 10 years later Squiglets has flourished, and I couldn’t be more grateful as I love my job so much. 

 

When I became pregnant, myself and Peter wanted to keep Squiglets running while still offering the same high level of care, so we decided that Peter would join Squiglets and run the business while I was on maternity leave. He had always loved joining me on walks whenever he had a day off work and he completely shared my passion for animals. Of course he fell in love with the job, the animals and being out in the fresh air all day, so he made the decision to stay in Squiglets full time and we now run our family business together. 

 

We are both hugely proud of our excellent reputation as a business and offering the highest level of care for the animals we look after. We pride ourselves on the professional, reliable and trustworthy service that we give to our customers, we believe this has been the key to our success. Being a small business we really enjoy the close relationships with our customers and their dogs. We love the fact that we can make a difference to their dogs lives by helping with socialisation, training, exercising and of course having loads of fun too.

We walk locally in Chorleywood and Rickmansworth and take full advantage of our beautiful open green spaces and lovely woodlands. Our vehicles are fully equipped for your dogs comfort and safety whilst travelling.
